A KIND DEED

From: Megan, Primary 5, Methodist Girls’

When I was Primary 2, I was eating at the canteen with my friends when we saw a girl trip. The plate of chicken rice she was holding slipped out of her hands and fell to the floor. In an instant, there was rice, chicken, and sauce all over that area. I was sitting nearby and as soon as I could, I grabbed a few pieces of tissue paper, helped her get up, and started to clean the mess on the floor. My friends soon joined in to help. After a while, the floor was almost spotless. We threw away the tissue we used and headed back to our table to finish up our food. I wanted to give her money to buy another plate of food, but she had disappeared into the crowd.
