Last year, I signed up for a tennis doubles championship. However, I did not have a partner, so I had to wait. Then, the coach informed me that there was a pair in which one person was absent. Subsequently, the coach put me and the other boy together. As we played, we found out that we were a very strong pair. The other boy, named Jadon, had powerful hits and attacks, while I hit consistently with minimal mistakes. To our great surprise, we actually won! After that experience, whenever there is a tennis doubles match, Jadon and I would always partner with each other. We won another time!
I learnt that even though bad things happen, for example, I did not have a partner at first, we just have to tell ourselves that every cloud has a silver lining. Be an optimist and know that a curse might be a blessing in disguise.
