Find Frenchie

From: Darryl, Pri 4, Catholic High School

Aurora knew that she had to find Frenchie. She immediately dashed into the school to find Frenchie. She searched every inch of the school compound, starting from the canteen then to the classrooms. She ran around school feeling worried and anxious.

Aurora remembered that she was talking to her friends instead of bringing Frenchie to his classroom. Aurora felt guilty losing Frenchie. “Frenchie must have gone off somewhere,” Aurora thought to herself. Aurora suddenly remembered that Frenchie loves to hang out at the forest nearby. Immediately, Aurora dashed towards the forest as fast as her legs could carry her.

Aurora was panting like a dog when she reached the forest. As she goes deeper into the forest, she heard the song of birds singing. Then, she saw Frenchie sitting on a bench. “Frenchie!” Aurora shouted, halting her footsteps.

Frenchie was admiring the forest, looking intently at the birds in front of him. Arora heaved a sigh of relief. “I have finally found you, Frenchie.”

Aurora held Frenchie’s hand and guided him back to school. When the teachers and classmates saw them back, they screamed shouts of cheers. “Hooray!”

Aurora learnt to be responsible and to take care Frenchie.
