GROWING UP

From: Maggie, Pri 6, Bukit View Primary

When I grow up, I look forward to being more independent. I want to make my own choices, explore new places, and learn new things. Growing older means I will have more responsibilities, but it also means I can discover what I am good at and how I can help others.

At the same time, I hope I will always remember the joy of childhood. I want to keep the curiosity I have now, the laughter I share with my friends, and the warmth of family moments. Childhood is full of simple but magical memories, and I don’t want to lose that sense of wonder. For example, I once woke up early on Mother’s Day to make breakfast and decorate a card for my mother. It made me feel proud and happy to see her smile. I hope I will always remember moments like that, because they remind me how love and care can make life special.

In conclusion, I look forward to growing wiser, but I also want to carry the playful spirit of my younger self.
