The next day, the family set off in the van. They would be going to Drumheller first before the Royal Tyrell Museum. Peter thought about what happened to Hammy the night before and felt that he could help Hammy by describing to her the events that were coming up for the day. At noon, the family stopped at a café to eat lunch. Hammy, who kept saying that she was hungry initially, ate a few bites of her burger and refused to eat anymore. Peter was not sure why, but he remembered the suitcase of instant Korean noodles. He decided to ask the café for some hot water and coaxed Hammy to eat. Hammy happily ate up all the noodles.
As they continued their trip to Drumheller, it was getting late, so the family put up at a guest house near the area. The owner of the guest house welcomed them warmly and showed them to their rooms. Peter did not want Hammy to be crying again, so he kept reminding Hammy that they were in a guesthouse, and they would be there for the night.
The trip continued, and Peter kept providing updates to Hammy whenever he could. He still did not know the cause of Hammy’s sudden change of behaviour but that did not matter. All he knew was that he could help Hammy, in his little ways.
