Pros of April traveling to Svalbard: She will be able to find out which polar bear was shot. She will know whether Bear is safe or not.
Cons of April traveling to Svalbard: Bear might not be the polar bear that was shot, and April might get herself into a lot of trouble for travelling all the way to Svalbard for nothing. She does not know what will happen to her if she travels there and whether she can make it back home safely.
April can wait for further information about the bear that was shot instead of travelling to Svalbard straight away. She can also try to talk to the scientists of the Polar Institute and gain information from them. She can ask Tor if he can help her speak to them or gain information about why the polar bear was there at that time and what it was doing.
