Weighing the pros and cons

From: Walter, Pri 5, North View Primary School

For the pros, if April goes to Svalbard, she can save Bear if he is injured. Even if Bear is not, April can confirm that Bear is fine. She will also be happy as she had missed Bear and can reunite with him. Maybe April can also find out why Bear was at the port.

For the cons, if Bear was injured, April does not know who shot him. The attacker might harm April too. Secondly, if she goes right away without planning, something bad might happen to her, perhaps a mishap. Thirdly, since Dad said there were many bears in Svalbard, it is very difficult to find Bear. Finally, polar bears are dangerous and a little aggressive so April must take great caution.

What I think April should do is to plan carefully before going to Svalbard. She can also get a map of Svalbard. Then, it would be easier to find Bear. April should pack some necessities too if the trip would be long.
