If I were Lucy, I would muster up my courage and ask the Creakers what they wanted in Whiffington Town. If they refuse to tell me, I will go to the market and buy some speakers and headphones. Then, I will hide the speakers in different areas of the house. After that, I will use a computer program that allows me to hear what the Creakers are saying. To be extra careful, I will use the headphones to listen to what the Creakers are saying in case they hear their voices and realise that I am spying on them. After I find out what the Creakers want, I will strike a deal with them. If I could give them what they wanted, they would let the grown-ups come back to Whiffington Town.
