If I were Lucy, I would carry another child above my head and wear adult clothes, so the Creakers would think that I was an adult. They would kidnap me and bring me to where the adults are, with the town’s children following secretly behind. While the children distract the Creakers, some of them would spray sleepy medicine onto the Creakers’ faces. I would rescue the adults and go back to town with the children. The Creakers won’t dare to come after the adults after they discover that the adults have gone, as the adults would be awake by now. They only kidnap the adults in the night when the adults are sleeping because they are afraid of the adults.
